Schuco Ford Transit FK 1000 Bus mit Anhänger & Vespa GS 1:43

In den Jahren 1953 bis 1965 im Ford-Werk in Köln-Niehl produziert, stellte der Ford FK 1000 den Ford-Konkurrenten
für den seinerzeitigen Platzhirsch am Markt für Kleintransporter, dem VW T1, besser bekannt als VW Bulli, dar.
Die "1000" in der Modellbezeichnung stand für 1000 Kilogramm Nutzlast. Ausgestattet mit dem 1,2-Liter Reihen
Vierzylindermotor des Ford 12M, stellte der FK1000 die leistungsmäßige Spitze im Vergleich zu seinen Mitbewerbern
VW T1 (25 PS), Tempo Matador 1000 (26 PS) und dem DKW-Schnelllaster mit lediglich 22 PS dar. Das Schuco
Metallmodell im Maßstab 1:43 erscheint nun in der Ausführung als Vespa-Service-Fahrzeug und mit zusammen mit
einer GS und einem Vespa-Monteur ausgeliefert.

Produced at the Ford plant in Cologne-Niehl from 1953 to 1965, the Ford FK 1000 was Ford's rival on the van
