Als Nachfolger der Porsche 911-Baureihe 997 stellt die auf der Frankfurter IAA 2011 vorgestellte 911-Baureihe 991
bereits die 7. Generation der Sportwagenlegende aus Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen dar. Aufgrund steigender Sicherheits-
und Komfortansprüche war das Fahrzeuggewicht der Vorgängerbaureihen stetig gestiegen. Aus diesem Grund
war der 991 der erste Porsche der in einer neuartigen Aluminium-Stahl-Mischbauweise hergestellt wurde. Als
Zwischenstufe zwischen dem Carrera S und dem GT3 stellte Porsche 2014 die Carrera-GTS-Modelle vor.
Sowohl mit Heckantrieb als auch als allradgetriebenen Carrera 4 waren die Karosserievarianten Coupe, Cabriolet
und Targa als GTS auf Basis des 991.1 mit einer Leistung von 430 PS auch leistungsmäßig zwischen dem Carrera
S und dem GT3 angesiedelt. Die beiden Schuco-Metall-Modelle des Carrera GTS Coupes und des Carrera GTS
Targa bestechen durch eine Vielzahl an tollen Funktionen und Modelldetails. Ein Sammlermodell wie es sein soll!

As the successor to the Porsche 911 series 997, the 911 series 991 presented at the Frankfurt IAA 2011 already
represents the 7th generation of the sports car legend from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Due to increasing safety
and comfort requirements, the vehicle weight of the predecessor series has risen steadily. For this reason, the
991 was the first Porsche to be manufactured using a new type of aluminum-steel composite construction.
As an intermediate stage between the Carrera S and the GT3, Porsche introduced the Carrera GTS models in 2014.
Available both with rear-wheel drive and as an all-wheel-drive Carrera 4, the Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa body
variants as the GTS based on the 991.1 with an output of 430 hp were also positioned between the Carrera S and
the GT3 in terms of performance. The two Schuco metal models of the Carrera GTS Coupe and the Carrera GTS
Targa impress with a variety of great features and model details. A collector model as it should be!
